Following the publication of the incomplete list of objections last week another version has been published this week. It’s still incomplete but at least a dozen new ones – numbered 108-114 & 118-124 have been added, along with the full text of No 18. However No 67 remains ‘butchered’, compared with what was submitted, and at least one other is still missing.
This continued confusion has been reported to Transport Scotland and to the Information Commissioner, as well as to the Council. It does not bode well for the future organisation of a Municipal Harbour if they can’t find a complete set of objections to publish! Please check – if you haven’t already done so – to make sure that any objection you submitted is included in full.
In the meantime two other processes are in train. First, we are all waiting to hear whether Argyll & Bute Council have made a further representation to Transport Scotland; this should be signalled to objectors this week, according to Dario dallaCosta. Second, I have submitted formal requests to the Council asking for their assurances regarding the integrity of their review and responses to objections and I have asked for copies of all documents which summarise or analyse the objections they received. Any documents that I receive will be posted here; the due date for response to this request should be 28th November.
